Sarah was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is a NYC based award-nominated theatre director. Her work has been seen at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre, Soho Playhouse, TinyRhino, Dixon Place, The Living Theatre, NYTW’s 4th St. Theatre, Littlefield, The Wild Project, Paradise Factory, Under St. Marks, and Manhattan Theatre Source. She's had the honor of being nominated for 3 theatre awards from Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (Outstanding Direction & 2 Outstanding Productions) and 1 from The Midtown International Theatre Festival (Outstanding Theatre), and was awarded the 2014 Congeniality Award and 2015 Greener Planet Award both at Planet Connections.

Her work has debuted regionally in New York, Illinois (Chicago and Southern Illinois), New Jersey, Florida, and Washington D.C. along with internationally in Israel.
She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from SUNY Fredonia, an M.A. in Educational Theatre at NYU, and is currently an M.F.A. Directing Candidate at Southern Illinois University. Additionally she's a SITI Company Alum & a Primary Stages ESPA alum. She's also studied Theatre, Directing, and Theatre History in numerous places aboard from The Sydney Opera House (Sydney, Australia), to The Globe Theatre (London, UK), to multiple theatre's in Prague (Czech Republic), Tel Aviv, & Jerusalem (Israel).
